Aftercare Instructions

How you take care of your brows over the next 3 weeks will ultimately determine its healing,  color retention, final appearance, and longevity. Cleanse twice a day with Cetaphil, pat dry, and apply small amount of healing ointment morning and evening with a Q-tip.    This should be done for the 1st 10 days after your treatment.

  • Keep the procedure area clean by washing with lukewarm water and Cetaphil. Do not use a washcloth or sponges. Simply splash with water. Do not use anti aging, acne cleansers, or astringents.
  • Apply healing ointment with a cotton swab. Do not touch the procedure area without first washing your hands thoroughly.
  • Do not scrub, rub or pick at crust that forms. Allow it to flake off by itself. If it is removed before it is ready, the pigment underneath it can be pulled out.
  • Do not use any makeup on the procedure area for at least 10 days.
  • After the procedure surface is completely healed, (minimum of 10 days) you may go back to your regular cleansing and makeup routine. Avoid scrubbing the area.
  • Always use sunscreen after the procedure area is healed to protect from sun fading.

Warnings

  • Do not use any Retin-A or Glycolic Acids in the brow area during or after healing.
  • Do not scrub or pick treated areas.
  • Do not expose area to the sun or tanning beds. Direct sunlight can cause pigment to change color.  It can also cause hyperpigmentation.
  • Avoid swimming for 10 days.
  • Do not tweeze eyebrows for at least one week.
  • Do not bleach, tint or dye the tattooed area for one month following the procedure.
  • No exercising and/or sweating for 72 hours post procedure
